The San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus is actively seeking a Marketing Manager to help plan and implement our marketing, communications, and advertising activities.
The Marketing Manager should contain a breadth of knowledge of current marketing trends and best practices, with specific insights for arts organizations and Bay Area-based non-profit organizations. They should be comfortable analyzing market research and customers’ behavior, creating strategic marketing plans, creating and maintaining spreadsheets of marketing data, and analyzing data to interpret ROI and KPI metrics.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Marketing Manager manages and executes all marketing and communications programs for SFGMC. They are responsible for meeting annual earned revenue budgeted goals, and for ensuring that the SFGMC brand is promoted effectively in print, digital and social media platforms to achieve maximum awareness of the organization’s mission, activities, and identity.
Ultimately, the Marketing Manager should help us achieve our business goals through building strong marketing campaigns, with a keen sense of the Chorus’ mission and community work.
The Marketing Manager reports to the Executive Director; collaborates regularly with the Artistic Director, Operations Director, Development Director, and Patron Services Manager; with Board and Chorus leadership, and with singers and other community volunteers.
