Future Art Awards 2021: Ecosystem X

An arts-based reimagining of life on planet Earth.

All U.S. artists welcome.  All art mediums welcome. No cost to submit.

The 3rd edition of MOZAIK Philanthropy’s Future Art Awards will present 10 U.S. artists from across the country with a $5,000 cash prize and a showcase in a curated virtual exhibition.

Awards Theme – Ecosystem X: How can artists help us vision the future by illustrating the principles, processes, or practices of a just world, where the complexities between living organisms, their physical environment, and all their interrelationships represent harmony, sustainability, justice and freedom? What are the key elements of these new ecosystems for people and planet, markets and movements? What would such a world look like from the perspective of 21st Century artists as catalysts for new futurities and planetary change? Ecosystem X is an open call to artists across the country looking to express an aspirational vision of life on planet Earth. About The Awards Democratizing art to honor the outstanding artistic talent of the day.

Open Call Criteria: Participation is open to any U.S.-based artist who works in any creative medium and whose work demonstrates a singular combination of talent and imagination. One art submission per artist.

Future Art Awards Prizes: 10 featured artists will be selected by a jury of their peers in a blind review to receive a cash prize of $5,000 and a featured spot in a curated virtual exhibition.

⭐ Future Student Art Prize: 1 student artist will receive an academic scholarship/stipend of $5,000 to advance their studies in the arts and a featured spot in a curated virtual exhibition. All student submissions will also be considered in the blind review for the general Future Art Awards prizes. Participation is open to current or rising high-school seniors and students currently enrolled at any institution of higher education in the United States.
