Artists from Sacramento and beyond are encouraged to submit their work to the 2023 Art Auction Season to help support the Crocker Art Museum’s exhibitions and community-building programs and classes. We hope you will be one of these artists! Your contribution to this annual fundraiser directly benefits the thousands of children, families, and adults served by the Museum every year.

About the 2023 Art Auction Season
The 2023 Art Auction Season is a mix of virtual and in-person events highlighting works of art available for purchase. Money raised during this annual fundraiser supports the Crocker Art Museum’s exciting and thought-provoking exhibitions, as well as community-building programs and classes.
The Art Auction consists of the virtual Silent Auction and the in-person Live Auction. Works selected for the Silent and Live auctions are featured in an exhibition that will be on view in the Museum from May 18 – June 4, as well as in the 2023 Art Auction catalogue. Works up to 80 x 40 inches in all media are welcome for these two auctions, and artists may donate 100% of the sale proceeds or choose to keep 50% of the proceeds collected on the sale of the artwork up to 125% of the fair market value, and proceeds that go above that will be considered a donation to the Museum.
BNSA is also a virtual auction that draws a large, global audience of new and season art collectors, but all works must be 12 x 12 inches or smaller and bidding starts at $25 regardless of the work’s fair market value.
The virtual auctions are hosted on the online auction platform Bidsquare. All in-person events take place at the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento, CA.
