Festival Detail

Mendocino County Mini Maker FaireMultidisciplinary
On Saturday, May 25th, from 10 am to 5 pm, the Mendocino County Museum will host the area's first-ever Mini Maker Faire on its grounds. Combined with activities for History Day 2013 and a special evening ball, "Maker Masquerade: A Dance to Creativity," this day of delight for tinkerers and everyone's inner "fix-it" person is sure to become a regular event in Mendocino County. The Faire will have booths, displays, demonstrations, and workshops all designed to share what neighbors are making, inventing, creating, and learning, whether it's a crocheted scarf, a model robot, a book cover recycled into a notebook, or a fantasy-driven vehicle. It's a chance to model for our next generations just what it takes to live in a DIY (do-it-yourself) kind of county.

Festival has a children/youth component.
