Festival Detail

United Nations Association Film FestivalFilm
The United Nations Association Film Festival is an international documentary film festival originally established at Stanford University and Palo Alto to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Over the years, the festival has screened some of the most awarded and talked about documentaries in the industry, including numerous films that were nominated for or have won an Academy Award for Best Documentary. International filmmakers attend the festival and join panel discussions with experts in the field of study.

In addition to the main festival, community programs help build awareness of issues including the UNAFF & KIDS, UNAFF IN SCHOOLS, UNAFF CAFE, UNAFF FOR SENIORS, and an international traveling film festival.

Festival has a children/youth component.
