Palo Alto Clay & Glass FestivalVisual Arts

The Annual Palo Alto Clay and Glass Festival welcomes thousands of festival goers to a fabulous, fun-filled two-day celebration of Clay and Glass Art. Featuring both fine and functional art, the Palo Alto Clay and Glass Festival is the largest show of its kind, with 180+ juried Clay and Glass artists displaying their work. Select from a wide array of original art pieces for the artful table, garden, and home. Discover quality, handmade clay and glass designed to last for generations. Choose from extraordinary hand-blown glassware, wheel-thrown stoneware, porcelain vessels, whimsical teapots, ceramic tiles, large-scale garden ornaments, functional desktop accessories, sconces, sculpture, jewelry, and more. The Palo Alto Art Center provides the perfect lawn setting for an open-air weekend of browsing, shopping, or collecting.

This free event offers visitors a chance to meet the artists and learn about their art, plus a variety of engaging activities like hands-on pottery-making and wheel-throwing demonstrations. The festival is presented by the Association of Clay and Glass Artists (ACGA) of California. At over 65 years in existence, the ACGA is the nation's largest nonprofit membership organization dedicated to the advancement of ceramic and glass arts.
