The State-Local Partnership (SLP) program fosters cultural development on the local level through a partnership between the CAC and local arts agencies throughout the State. SLPs enable the creation, presentation, and preservation of the arts of all cultures to enrich the quality of life for all Californians.
A local arts agency designated by its county board of supervisors to serve the county's citizens in partnership with the California Arts Council.
State-Local partners are local arts agencies officially designated to provide financial support, services, or other programs to a variety of arts organizations, individual artists, and the diverse communities of their county.
