Adjunct Instructor in Virtual Reality Filmmaking at Emerson Los Angeles Center (ELA)

Emerson College’s Los Angeles Center is seeking an instructor for an undergraduate course in Virtual Reality (VR) Filmmaking for the Fall 2017 semester. This hands-on, production course engages students with varying degrees of proficiency and expertise in VR in creating 360 degree video as well as computer generated Virtual Reality experiences in Unity and other industry-standard software.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching at the undergraduate level as well as significant professional experience and achievement in Virtual Reality media fields. An advanced degree in filmmaking or related field is strongly preferred.

Affiliated faculty at ELA work under the supervision of the Academic Director and in consultation with the chairs and senior faculty at the appropriate academic department at Emerson’s Boston campus. The appointment begins Aug 30, 2017 and ends December 8, 2017. Compensation for the 14 week term will be $5,625.

Emerson College Los Angeles Center (ELA) is a residential program for Emerson juniors and seniors in the heart of Hollywood. Up to 215 students can enroll in the fall and spring semesters.
