New ADA Ticketing Regulations: Is Your Arts Venue in Compliance?
Enforceable regs for wheelchair locations
On September 15, 2010, the US Department of Justice added language regarding ticketing to the regulations for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). These new regulations are now enforceable. The new ticketing regulations are composed of eight sections. Section five specifically regulates the hold and release of wheelchair-accessible locations.
