NEA issues new report on documentary film sustainability

New research has been released as part of an effort by the National Endowment for the Arts to strengthen the field of documentary films. In partnership with the International Documentary Association, the report, State of the Field: A Report from the Documentary Sustainability Summit, examines the changing cultural and business environments affecting documentary filmmaking and highlights challenges to their future survival. The NEA will offer four free public webinars featuring experts in the field to provide an overview of the report and discuss supportive strategies.   MORE >>

Laura Zucker departs from Los Angeles County Arts Commission

After 25 years as executive director of the Los Angeles County Arts Commission, Laura Zucker has stepped down from her post. Her leadership as an arts administrator has been invaluable to the county and the whole of the arts community.
