$1M Invested in Statewide "Artists in Schools" Program

We're pleased to announce funding for our 2014-15 Artists in Schools Program. Artists in Schools is the California Arts Council's largest core grant program, supporting professional teaching artists in classroom and after-school settings. The 2014-15 Artists in Schools Program will provide funding for 119 arts organizations to help bring instruction in music, theater, dance, visual arts, and other art forms to children statewide during the school year.  MORE >>

Arts Council meeting in San Francisco on October 6

The California Arts Council will meet on Monday, October 6 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, 701 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94103. The public is invited to attend and address the Council during the public comment period. Public testimony will be time-limited. View the meeting agenda at this link.
