California Chosen for National Arts Education Initiative

California has been selected by Americans for the Arts to be part of ten state teams administering a three-year pilot program to strengthen arts education by advancing state policy. The California team includes the California Alliance for Arts Education, the California County Superintendents Educational Services Association (CCSESA), the California Department of Education (CDE) and the Hewlett Foundation. Together they will work to shift the educational policy landscape in California so that schools and districts may achieve equitable educational opportunities and outcomes for low-income students.   MORE >>
