Arts Council's Lucero Arellano to Retire July 16

Lucero Arellano, Arts Specialist for the California Arts Council, will be retiring from the state next week. She has worked for the agency for 34 years, longer than any other Arts Council employee, starting three years after the agency was founded in 1976. Join us for a celebratory evening at Luna's Café Tuesday, July 16th.

Arts Council Listening Tour: Costa Mesa

The California Arts Council is in the process of creating a new Strategic Plan. To gather your ideas, the Arts Council is conducting a "listening tour," a series of meetings to ask for input from interested Californians.  Our last stop is Costa Mesa on Thursday, July 25. We'll also have an online survey available to gather input electronically next week. Keep an eye out for it and give us an earful!
