The California Cultural Data Project (California CDP) was launched in 2008 as an online management tool designed to strengthen California's arts and cultural organizations. Now that the California CDP has been in place, the California CPD Working Group seeks California based organizations to utilize CDP information to analyze the arts and culture sector of our state.

Craig Watson Appointed to WESTAF Board

The Western States Arts Federation (WESTAF) has appointed California Arts Council Director Craig Watson to its board, which includes five state arts agency executive directors who are elected to the board by their peers. Watson will complete a partial term vacated by former Alaska Arts Council Director Charlotte Fox. His term concludes in October 2012.
