California Arts Council Staff Sponsors "Read to Feed" Book Sale and Silent Auction on December 1

The California Arts Council staff -- like many other State of California employees -- collect canned goods and non-perishable food products each holiday season for the State Employees' Annual Food Drive. But this year the Arts Council staff is taking it one step further and having a book sale on December 1 to raise funds so food banks can replenish foodstuff items they need.

Shubert Foundation releases names of 2010 grant recipients -- and there are plenty of Californians on the list
