Governor's Proclamation for National Arts and Humanities Month--a personal invitation to all Californians

Governor Schwarzenegger issued a special proclamation on October 18, 2010, specifically highlighting October as Arts and Humanities Month. Like the "California Arts Day" proclamation issued the previous week, this document highlights the importance of the arts to California. But this official document specifically commends the Californians who strengthen the arts and humanities in the state, and invites all Californians to explore the creative opportunities in our state, "whether that means learning a new language or simply sitting down and picking up a novel ..." Click "more" to see the text of the official document sent to the California Arts Council and the California Council for the Humanities.
