California Arts Day has passed, but the Arts continue through National Arts and Humanities Month

California Arts Day, a date set aside for Californians to celebrate the creativity of our communities and arts education in our schools, was last Friday, but there's still time to participate!. The California Arts Council has also teamed up with the California Council for the Humanities (CCH) to celebrate National Arts and Humanities Month through the month of October. We still have our event listings, and "California Arts Day e-cards" ready to go for arts celebrators, and Americans for the Arts has a database of Arts Month events happening across the nation. President Obama officially declared October as Arts and Humanities Month. And if that wasn't enough, we're utilizing social-networking media (specifically Facebook and Twitter) to share interesting information with the California Council for the Humanities. Friend us, follow us, and celebrate National Arts and Humanities Month for the next 24 days with us.
